My stay here was great! I spent about a month and a half here. The couple who manage the hotel are some of the hardest working and friendliest people I have met. They are always happy to help! After a mix up with my check out date, which was more my fault, they gave me my last night for free. There is an always open pool which is great for families or if you just want to get a few laps in before bed.

I have to give the Horizon an A+ for effort. The rooms were spotless and the lobby is very quaint. Extra touches in the room regarding the display of towels was noted and appreciated. Free ice cream at check in was a bonus and a clever gimmick. The young lady at the reservations desk was super polite and apologetic about the delay for checking in.

comfy bed, good location, large room with mini fridge and microwave was great because I have two very picky eaters. staff was great. There were some balls in the pool area for my kids to play with. they also had life jackets or floaties to use. my kids loved the kisses in the room and the free ice-cream you get.
